"Our Home for Now Is Corrupted"

God crafted a world that was filled with beauty. A beauty so divine that we could not imagine it, though some shadows of its former glory still wisp across our paths in fleeting glimpses of what used to be and will be again. No Death was there. All things were good, though the full definition of what is good eludes us in our present state. But God has shed light on this world. Through his word and through the testimony of what still exists, those children of His grace understand dimly the world that was good. As well as what waits them after this life in the very good world to come.
The world when God created it… was filled with love…true love and not this pitiful, shriveled little love seen and felt in the present. It must have been glorious from the descriptions penned by Moses of the scene set in the garden!
But like the created world, this love was broken in the distant past. It had been destroyed and had God not intervened by His Son all would have utterly been lost. A world missing even the fleeting glimpses of His glory would be a world not worth living in. Satan would rob us of those glimpses or corrupt them and take something intended to reveal God’s glory and twist or taint it as a young boy egregiously tosses mud into the face of a beautiful young girl. Instead of viewing God’s creation through righteous eyes… the lustful eyes of fallen men filter what would be beauty into what can be gained from creation to fulfil his own sinful desires. He is aided by Satan’s help in his quest and would take that which God has provided to bring Himself glory and turn it into lasciviousness and dishonor.
The future in this case is just as obscured as the past. But it is not as if God left us to only imagine, for our imaginations are darkened and twisted. He revealed the past…and He reveals the future.
Our glorious God has revealed the world that was and will be again. This divine show in the cosmos is not only played out on a universal level…but also Gives us a beautiful picture of what happens or has happened in the soul of his own.
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:24-25
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelations 21:5
